Ingredients

250ml pump

Use this product to:
Refill our 30ml or 125ml atomisers, then spray over face, neck and décolletage after cleansing.

Alternatively, pump lotion onto a cotton pad (TIP: hold the pad firmly against pump to do this) to and wipe over face, neck and décolletage.

This facial toning lotion is infused with extracts of fresh herbs and flowers to hydrate, refresh and calm. Contains natural plant saponins (evident as froth when bottle is shaken) that help skin to easily absorb nutrients in Simplicité Face Oils and Serum Concentrates.

Tingling - not necessarily a bad sign

Toners have always been a staple in my skincare routine. When I fell in love with Simplicité I also added their Hydrating Floral Toning Lotion. My skin started to tingle uncomfortably and felt tight. After giving it a few days and seeing no improvement, I switched to a different Australian natural and organic skincare brand. This new toner smelled lovely and didn't cause any reactions.

During a chat with Robin I mentioned my experience with the Hydrating Floral Toning Lotion and my switch to another brand. She explained that the high-quality and active ingredients might cause some initial irritation - proof that they were hard at work.

Encouraged by her words, I decided to give it another try. The tingling returned but it completely settled within a few days. The discomfort vanished, leaving my skin feeling refreshed and hydrated.

This toning lotion has a refreshing floral scent, is alcohol-free and non-drying. It's incredibly gentle yet highly effective, leaving my skin supple and moisturised. Now, I can't imagine my routine without it!

Curious, I had another look at the ingredients of the other toner and discovered it was 95% hydrosol = aromatic water. I couldn’t believe that I had paid over $50 for 100ml of pleasant-smelling water 🙄

In contrast, the Hydrating Floral Toning Lotion is packed with high-quality, active ingredients that deliver real results. Mixing a few sprays with either face oil or serum ensures even better absorption and enhanced benefits. So, not every initial irritation is bad - sometimes, it's a great sign of effectiveness.

Refreshing big bottle to refill the spritzer

This toning lotion is lovely and I use it day and night under my serums for an extra moisture boost. I have never really missed using a toner in my beauty routine before, but i miss this product if i run out as it just adds that extra feeling of having refreshed and hydrated skin. I put it on after i cleanse and exfoliate, but before i apply my Simplicite serum, then I moisturise. I love it. But I just love the whole Simplicite range, which i am slowing working my way through. I have not been disappointed with one product yet, Love, love, love!

Also, I bought this larger size because the toning lotion spritzer in 125ml size that i usually get was out of stock. But, because i had previously purchased this toning lotion in the 125ml smaller size spritzer bottle, i can refill my spritzer bottle using this larger size if i choose. I often feel guilty about not reusing product bottles generally, so i love that i can do this by purchasing this product.
