An advanced formula gentle exfoliator which uses the enzyme action of freshly ground almond, adzuki and linseed to ‘lift’ dead cells. The exfoliating mix includes chamomile and lavender flowers for their soothing and balancing effects. As are all Simplicité exfoliators, this product is nutritive and non-scratching.

Note - when using in the shower it's important not to get water in the tube as this will affect plant enzymes.

Method 1: Everyday gentle exfoliator

Massage onto face for at least 30 seconds or longer when in shower; leave on for as long as possible before washing off. For best results don’t overly dilute with water.

Method 2: Plumping, firming face pack

First apply a Simplicité serum and face oil.
Apply a thick even layer of Exfoliating Face Treatment to face, neck and décolletage.
Massage gently for 1-2 mins then leave on for 10 minutes or longer. Wash off.
Temporary skin pinkness may sometimes occur for 10-20 mins.

Method 3: 'Drawing’ treatment for pimples and acne areas

Apply thickly to pimples and acne areas, leave in place for 20-30 mins or as long as several hours to encourage healing and to reduce redness and inflammation.
For best results apply over Acne Anti-Bacterial Serum.
TIP: Best way to remove this treatment is in the shower, using a little One Step Exfoliating Cleanser.
Temporary skin pinkness may sometimes occur for 10-20 mins.

Completely Unexpected Results

In a word - "Wow" - I had no idea this product would be so INCREDIBLY effective. Any woman over the age of 40 knows that exfoliation is the key to looking younger and I have been in love with the One Step Exfoliating Cleanser ever since I started using it, but when I tried this Exfoliating Face Treatment, I was floored. Not only is it a lovely product to use (very fresh scent and feel), but it removes all dead skin with zero scrubbing and leaves my face super revitalized without any irritation whatsoever. In now use both, lol.

Pampering my skin for winter

Very good, I enjoy leaving it on and letting it dry as a nutrient mask on my face. It really livens up my skin, and makes my skin look fresh and alive! Fantastic exfoliator and very gentle.

I'd been using the One Step Exfoliator for a while, and decided to try this one as well.

I couldn't get over how soft and smooth it left my skin. Any largish pores on my nose were smoothed down, and it seemed to suck out the larger blackheads.

My face was bright red afterwards, and was very receptive to the serum and other treatment products. It didn't sting, or leave my face feeling raw, just lovely and clean.

It also seemed to plump up my skin, because there was definitely more 'give' in my skin.

It feels like the old oat scrubs in texture, and smells a bit like fish sauce (the good stuff), but it's not unpleasant at all - quite enjoyable, actually.

I now alternate between this one and the One Step, and that seems to work well for my mature skin.

Another favourite

I have very dry and sensitive skin and when I used the Exfoliating Face Treatment for the first time I ended up with extremely red skin (after only 2 minutes). However, it felt very gentle. After experimenting a bit how to use it on my skin I now alternate it with the one step exfoliating cleanser. This Face Treatment exfoliates without being harsh and I can even feel it working. Afterwards my skin fells revitalised, smooth and fresh, prepared for my daily skin routine and ready to start the day. I love it!
